Step 1: Draw the region the empire is in.
Step 2: Get at least 3 other maps of the kingdom and draw their borders on your own map.

Step 3: Make the largest or few from largest borders bold. This is because some maps might show the main region and not the far parts of the empire. Then, erase all the borders not in bold.
Step 4: Do Research on this empire. If you think it conquered a land not shown in the maps you have, add it on. Insert a legend somewhere. Do not fill it in. When this is completed, colour your map.
Step 5: Add the capital. Next, add the river and some details.
Step 6: Finish the legend.
